Question by maggie g: How do I put my name on the title when I am not on the mortage?
Hi there! I am in California and my husband and I are buying our first house. He is doing the mortage by himself and I am not on it. But I calm want to have my name on the title. I was told by some nice fellows here that it is feasible. So my question is, what do I do to put my name on the title? Who should I talk to? Thanks a lot!

Go to the county recorders office in your area and ask for the papers to place you on the entitle. They will help a great handle. I do recommend that you have a Real Estate attorney do the paper work for you or an escrow.

Question by Rachael H: How long does it take to get the commitment letter for a mortage(spl?)?
I’m working with a mortage broker that is harder to get ahold of than the President. I was just wondering how long it typically takes to get a commintment letter from a lender for a loan. It just seems like we’ve been waiting forever. Thanks. =)

Question by isham34: I’m looking for a way to pay my mortage payment with a credit card?
My mortage is with Countrywide and I am looking for a way to pay my mortage payment with my credit card that gives me airmiles. They won’t accept a credit card payment and I can’t buy money orders with a credti card. Any other ideas?

You could always get a cash advance but im not sure if you would get air miles for that. Plus the interest rate is always gonna be alot higher!!!
